study的用法1：study的基本意思是“學習”“研究”“攻讀”“仔細察看”，指透過讀書和思索傾注精神而獲得知識或比較深入系統地學習或周密地研究。強調注意的連續性和細緻性。
study的用法2：study可用作不及物動詞，也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時，接名詞、代詞或帶疑問詞的動詞不定式或從句作賓語，有時還可接“反身代詞+形容詞”構成的複合賓語。可用於被動結構。
study的用法3：study的基本意思是“學習”，表示抽象的行爲，用作不可數名詞 表示具體的“學業”時，通常用複數形式 表示對某一課題的“研究”，一般在其前加冠詞並跟介詞of連用， of後接研究的內容或對象，用作可數名詞 作“書房”解時，用作可數名詞。
study的用法4：study也可表示繪畫的“習作”“練習曲”，用作可數名詞。
study的用法5：study還可表示“引人注意的或不同尋常的事物或景象”，常跟不定冠詞a連用。
