1、 from …to…主要用於英國英語，from …through…主要用於美國英語，兩者都可表示持續的時間，後者可以省去介詞 from。
2、 另外，兩者在含義也稍有差別：from …to…對終點時間是否包括在內並不清楚，而from …through…則表示包括終點時間在內。如：
I go to work from Monday to Saturday. 我每星期一至星期六上班。(星期六是否包括在內並不清楚，即星期六是否上班並不清楚)
I go to work Monday through Saturday. 我每星期一至星期六上班。(星期六包括在內，即星期六也上班)
