still和even都可以修飾比較級，語法功能都是加強語氣，意爲“還要，更”，still通常位於比較級之後，even通常位於比較級之前
still 表示仍然.
even 表示甚至.
在比較級中，兩者的差別主要表現在意思的差別上
如 He is still taller than you.他仍然比你高
He is even taller than you.他甚至比你高
又如:He works still harder than ever. =He works harder still than ever. 他比以往更加努力學習了.表示前者在某方面遠遠地超過對方時，通常採用far，by far，a lot，a great deal等.
兩者都可構成短語still less和even less，均意爲“更不用說”。
例如:
We fear no death， still less difficulties.我們死都不怕，更不用說困難了。
Mr Brown knows little of English， and even less of French.布朗先生幾乎不懂英語，更不用說法語了。
2、 兩者均可用在比較級前，加強語氣，譯作“更加甚至還要……”等。
如:
A still brighter future for our motherland lies ahead. 祖國更加美好的未來呈現在我們面前。
